At present only 50 people can attend a church service and there are rules that parishes must follow.  These rules have been published in the Bulletin which is online at:

Weekend Masses

Admittance to weekend Mass is for the first 50 person to arrive. Names and contact details must be provided upon entering the church.

Even though public Mass is now possible for a maximum of 50 worshippers at any time in the congregation means most parishioners still will be unable to attend Mass. In the Archdiocese of Sydney, the Archbishops's dispensation from the usual obligation to attend Sunday Mass still applies.
